Born in the aftermath of a global pause, the Anti-Dote Collection explores the interconnected realms of the microcosm and the macrocosm. Inspired by the visuals of viruses magnified under a microscope and the vastness of the stars above, this collection exists at the intersection of abstraction and figuration. The shapes and forms evoke alien landscapes, cellular worlds, and cosmic constellations, blurring the boundaries between what lies beneath and what lies beyond.
This series, created in collaboration with Ulrike, uses warm tones of orange and pink contrasted with grounding blacks to reflect both resilience and transformation. Each piece embodies the strange beauty of unseen worlds—whether bacteria under a lens or galaxies light-years away—and invites the wearer to imagine, explore, and transcend.
The Anti-Dote Collection is deeply personal, crafted as a response to the chaos and uncertainty of 2020. With canceled exhibitions and a world in flux, the act of creating became an anchor—a way to process stress, find focus, and rediscover artistic purpose. What began as textile art in the studio transformed into wearable pieces, offering a sense of connection and accessibility outside the gallery walls.
This is not “wearable art” as a borrowed concept—it is art made to be worn, rooted in the same studio, the same materials, and the same dedication to storytelling. The collection stands as a testament to resilience, adaptability, and the power of creativity to transform even the most challenging times into something vibrant and alive.
