A lunch, a walk through the studio and two linen works carried into a new body.
RY X visited Ole at the studio in Ubud. They ate, talked about music, live performance and art, and moved through a room where garments, drawings and unfinished works share the same space.
The photographs begin as documentation. Later, Ole drew over the portraits in Procreate, extending the embroidered lines beyond the garment and into the image.
The visit
The encounter is part of the work. A meal, a conversation, trying something on and seeing how another person changes its frequency.
The image continues
The digital lines do not decorate the photograph. They continue the same hand that moves between drawing, embroidery and the body.
